Star Wars Rarepairs Exchange 2022
Oct. 3rd, 2022 09:23 pmI have more ideas/prompts for some ships than others, but I would be genuinely excited to get anything in this letter, regardless of whether I've written a long or short section on it.

- Interesting ways for robots to experience sex
- Handjobs
- Oral
- Anal (for m/m)

- Praise kink
- Women on top
- Size difference (where a big size difference exists in canon, as with K-2 and L3)
Art Likes
- Bold colours and strong lighting
- Post-impressionistic styles
- Pattern-heavy styles, like mosaic or stained glass
- Cute and more cartoon-y styles

- Tarot/playing card imagery
- Intimacy between characters. Not necessarily sex, but physical closeness - hair and face touching, holding hands, hugging, kissing. Non-explicit sex also welcome!
Rogue One: Bodhi/K-2SO, Cassian/K-2SO, Cassian/Bodhi/K-2SO
General likes:
- I love K-2 being super protective and, in his way, very gentle and caring. He will Fuck You Up if you mess with someone he cares about (which is a short list of people).
- Mutual protectiveness
- Characters being competent and smart
- Mission fic
- Ensemble casts - I love all the Rogue One characters, so including them is great.
- AUs totally welcome, provided K-2 is still some kind of AI.
- Size-difference (K-2 is so massive, and I love it.)
- Robot sex
Cassian/K-2SO-specific prompts:
- I like anything that deals with their shared history: how did Cassian reprogramme K-2? What were their early days together like, with K-2 adapting to life in the rebellion and learning how to navigate his own independence and growing personhood? Did others in the Alliance mistrust him, and how did they navigate that?
- How does K-2 feel about what Cassian did, and about changing sides? Does he ever wonder if their friendship/love is something that Cassian programmed him to want? Does K-2 "belong" to Cassian, and how do they navigate that?
- Slow burn developing friendship and/or romance - K-2 has never had a friend (maybe never had the capacity before), never mind anything more than that. Cassian is very tightly controlled and not the most open or vulnerable. I love anything where they learn to trust one another and open up.
- Mutual badassery and protecting one another - Cassian would do anything for the rebellion, and K-2 will always protect Cassian.
- If they survive Scarif, and the war, into the New Republic, how does that go? Being an Imperial droid is useful when you need to infiltrate the Empire, but when the Empire's been defeated, where does that leave you?
- Navigating sex and intimacy with a droid must be a little bit weird, even if you're into it. It must be pretty weird if you're the droid in question. I'm always here for robot sex!
Bodhi/K-2SO-specific prompts:
- I am pretty into the idea that Bodhi and K-2 have a lot of shared experiences related to their time with the Empire, both of them as cogs in the great machine who managed to get away and strike a huge blow. Bor Gullet messed with Bodhi's mind, and K-2 would have experienced reprogramming and memory wipes at the hands of the Empire.
- K-2 helping Bodhi adjust to life in the rebellion in a world where they survive Scarif. Or maybe after the war - does Bodhi have to face any trial or punishment for his work for the Empire? What is K-2's status in the New Republic? Can they help one another figure out a way in the new world?
- In an everybody lives AU, Bodhi has a pretty steep learning curve when joining the rebellion for real. Do people still mistrust him? How’s he coping with any lingering trauma? What sort of place can he make for himself? K-2 has been there, done that, got the t-shirt, and might be able to help Bodhi settle in (in his sassy K-2 way).
- If you want to go darker: maybe Cassian doesn't survive Scarif, or is killed on a mission, and Bodhi tries to help K-2 process and live with grief.
- Intimacy: what does that look like, to a droid? Has Bodhi had much of it, and how have his recent experiences changed what he wants/needs?
- Navigating sex and intimacy with a droid must be a little bit weird, even if you're into it. It must be pretty weird if you're the droid in question. I'm always here for robot sex!
- Cassian reacting to this relationship - I want to know what he thinks!
K-2SO/Cassian/Bodhi-specific prompts:
- I like a lot of the same things as for Cassian/K2 and Bodhi/K2
- One of them is away doing something dangerous, the other two worry and distract one another.
- Relationships with droids are generally not looked on kindly, so while the Cassian/Bodhi side of things can be fairly open, K-2 really can’t be. Tension!
- If two of them have been together for longer, one of them teaches the newer person what the third person likes, i.e. exactly where to find the most sensitive sensors in K-2’s wiring, or K-2 giving some extremely blunt, not-very-sexy sex advice (he would either be the best or the worst sex advisor).
Andor: Maarva/Saw Gerrera
General likes and prompts:
- I love Saw Gerrera. He believes in his cause so fully, and he's willing to sacrifice everything for it - often including his own compassion and kindness. He's ruthless, and angry, and will do whatever he needs to do to achieve his goals, including some seriously reprehensible things. And yet when he talks to Jyn in Rogue One it's with genuine fondness and warmth.
- We don't know much about Maarva yet, but she too seems to have a ruthless streak, is seriously morally grey (kidnapping a child, Maarva?), and yet loves and cares for Cassian.
- Both Saw and Maarva end up as parental figures for angry, traumatised children and I'd love for them to meet (either with Jyn and Cassian or without).
- After Clem's death and Cassian's imprisonment, maybe Maarva and Saw work together on some anti-Empire plan.
- Saw tries to recruit Maarva to the Partisans.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Abandoned B1 Battle Droid/Clone Trooper Left for Dead, Darth Maul/Ahsoka Tano, Steela Gerrera/Ahsoka Tano
General likes:
- Similarities between droids and clones
- Mutual protectiveness
- Characters being competent and smart
- Mission fic - Hijinks and adventure - having to escape from somewhere, or break into somewhere, or steal a ship.
- Ahsoka being awesome and committed to her principles, even w she's no longer a Jedi
- Female characters working together and respecting one another
- The importance of names and identity
- Finding common ground with someone you never expected to find it with.
- I really like slow developing trust and friendship, working through misunderstandings, characters slowly learning new things and having to see others in a different light.
- Characters realising that they like/are good at/can enjoy new things that they've never been allowed to experience before.
- B1 droids realising that they are individuals, struggling with the ability to make their own decisions. If the B1 droid is the only one of their battalion left, do they miss the others?
- Clone Trooper's chip kicks in, or malfunctions, or has to be removed, and the B1 droid helps
- Fixing one another
- Working out complex emotions via lightsaber battles
- Maul being super dramatic and craving revenge, validation, and power
- Similarities between Ahsoka and Maul, as ex-Jedi and ex-Sith, both of them feeling betrayed and abandoned - the strangeness of hatred mixed with a deep understanding, and the knowledge that your enemy understands you on a fundamental level.
- AU where Ahsoka does join Maul, and tries to persuade him to the Light
- AU with Maul and Ahsoka (and Rex?) escaping together at the end of TCW and having to figure out how to go on together
- Ahsoka and Maul meeting post-TCW/during Rebels - how does that play out for them, when so much has changed for them both?
- Hate sex that isn't really hate sex
Steela Gerrera/Ahsoka Tano-specific likes and prompts:
- STEELA LIVES
- Ahsoka and Steela on a mission together, or stranded together, and growing closer as they rely on one another
- Taking care of one another's injuries
- Ahsoka is stuck in a time loop to save Steela
- A moment of peace
Any Star Wars Crossovers: Jyn Erso/Ahsoka Tano
General likes and prompts:
- I'm interested in both the similarities and differences between these two: Ahsoka is so principled and committed, whereas Jyn for a long time was disillusioned and traumatised and focused on survival. And yet they both know what it is to be abandoned and betrayed by the people they trust the most, and what it means to grow up as a child soldier.
- Ahsoka seems like a fundamentally kind and decent person - she's always helping people, even if might not be the safest thing to do. How might things be different if Ahsoka had had a chance to help Jyn?
- Jyn lives! And goes on a mission with Ahsoka!
- Ahsoka is a Force user and Jyn clearly has some reverence for the Force - I'd love to see Ahsoka teaching Jyn more about the Force, and for Jyn to be able to share something of her mother.
